Chalet Du Grand Ballon

an old hotel of the vogesenverein, the rooms are very simple and long not renovated. a time trip. but this hotel does not have the claim to be more modern then it would lose a part of its charm. the location with a sensational panorama, the good food and the very friendly and attentive staff are the reason why we like to come back.

The location and the view are spectacular, the ride on the motorcycle, and it's also great. The hotel itself is fine for an overnight. But don't expect any luxury to be extra comfort. The people are very kind and helpful but limited to what they can offer you. Sadly only spoke French.

very nice reception on site as during the phone reservation; room for a little hiker' for people but enough for a night. The boss is very nice and the staff is listening. the meal hiker' is top for only € !
