Chameleon Gastrobar

Well after just flying into Spain our first night decided to eat at the Chameleon Gastro Bar as had never been there before. After being seated waited 25 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. Decided to place our food order at the same time. One starter and two mains pretty straight forward or so we thought. Drinks finally arrived after being seated for 45 minutes. My starter arrived with my wife’s main after one hour twenty. Both the potato starter and the salmon main were average at best. I then asked about my main to be told it had been missed. So after one hour forty five minutes we decided to end the evening as no apology or goodwill gesture was forthcoming. A very disappointing start to our holiday and definitely won’t be returning.

What a great little gem, booked for 7pm family of 4 adults and two kids. Was quiet when we arrived so got the absolute best service. The waiters were amazing spent ages with out 9 year old making sure he got exactly what he wanted as they didnt have his first choice of veggi burger. Cannot praise the staff highly enough. The food we ordered was excellent all the lovely little starters, prawns, tacos, belly pork all delicious. Burgers with the black bread buns was amazing as was the cod and black cous cous and the chicken curry. Not a single crumb was left will definitely be going back.

Este es un buen restaurante. El chef es colombiano y ha creado un gran menú. Probamos entradas como tacos de lomo de cerdo, camarones cocidos en ajo y limón, empanada de ossobuco de ternera, una deliciosa ensalada y por supuesto papas bravas. Disfrutamos de una excelente comida con una botella de vino rosado. También tienen fabulosos cócteles. El área al aire libre era encantadora y tuvimos una bonita vista del atardecer. ¡Definitivamente volveremos! También tienen una buena selección de platos principales que probaremos cuando regresemos.

This is a great restaurant with a really good chef. He is from Columbia and mixes tastes from that culture with ones from Spain. We always have a number of the appetizers garlic shrimp, potatoes bravos, chicken dish, octopus. All is excellent and the waiters make great suggestions. This is one of our favourite restaurants in the area. Great wine suggestions as well. If you like Gong, try this!

Excellent food, friendly staff with great service. Highly recommend visiting Chameleon, we have been a few times and never disappointed!
