I've been visiting this restaurant for about six months now, and it's a fantastic spot for pupusas. Since moving to Hawthorne, I've had to say goodbye to my usual place in Bellflower. This restaurant is lively and offers a variety of delicious sweet bread options that my son really enjoys. The plantains with beans and cream are always a hit, especially after a fun weekend. I highly recommend this place! It's also very kid-friendly, with plenty of sweet bread choices for my son.
So delicious and legit Guatemalan food! We stop here to get breakfast and omg the Pan dulce is probably the best I've found in the US.We order the breakfast number 1 and it came with eggs (I got scrambled with tomato and onion), homemade black beans, crema and fresh homemade corn tortillas (I could literally hear them making them). We also got coffee and my day was brighten!I also bought some pan dulce to go! 10/10 next time I'll try the lunch food for sure!
As a Salvadoran, I have a deep affection for pupusas. I've sampled them at various restaurants, but only found one place I really enjoyed—until I discovered this gem! I highly recommend it; they use high-quality ingredients and the pupusas are much larger than I anticipated. This will likely become my new go-to spot! The space is a bit small, so it can get crowded during evenings and weekends, but overall, it’s a fantastic place!

I ordered pupusas from this restaurant, and it's a fantastic family-owned spot. The food is excellent, especially the handmade tortillas. I would give it a perfect 10/10!
Service here is terrible. Almost missed a flight because of the terrible service. Food is average. I DON’T recommend. Go to Tata’s Cafe next door, food was better there.
If you are ever in Hawthorne, this is a must. Everything was freshly made, delicious and hot. Everyone is so grateful to surve you. And they have PAN to eat with café.
