I stopped eating here 2 years ago in 2021. The steak ? seemed like beef jerky meat. My friend pointed out a on the wall. That was IT I didn’t go back. When this place first opened it was wonderful but during quarantine things changed and just kept getting nastier. The waitresses have meth mouth which is not appealing in a food establishment. I don’t understand how the owner doesn’t start over. Clean it up hire all new staff Ect. I was thinking to eat here tonight because I’m at my lake house. I love Mexican food. I read all the reviews and thank god I did. I will NOT eat there. If I see bugs I’m OUT
We absolutely love this place ! This is our 3 rd time ! The food is authentic Mexican ! The service is beyond great . The prices are very very good also . If you like cafe del Rio in lufkin , you will absolutely love it here . Fajitas were very very good !!!! Nachos and street tacos great ! The shrimp and crabs enchilada dinner perfect ! Hot sauce and chips with a very good margarita , just perfect ! Very clean and attractive Interior !Parking: Plenty of parking , lots of spots for trucks with boats , you can park and keep an eye on your boat from theft !

I haven't been here in about a year. Decided to give them another try. I'm so glad I did!! Food was great, and the bartender was Amazing! I will definitely be going back. If you haven't been here in a while, come back and give them another chance. I don't think you will be disappointed!

I’m genuinely surprised by the reviews. I’m not sure if it’s new management or if they have just improved. I had street tacos(Carnitas), charro beans and guacamole. I have to say everything was great. Salsa had great flavor as well. I’d say give it another chance if it’s been awhile.

Love the food nice size portions. Fresh food no fake meat no microwave The service was nice and restaurant and parking lot was very clean .Nicely decorated .
