Chapel Down - Reserva de mesa

Last weekend I visited the gorgeous Market Town of Tenterden, en route to Chapel Down Winery. Very pleasant day I must confess. Once at Chapel Down, the harvesting I was told, by a very jolly and helpful young member of staff, is timed to exactly within hours so that the grapes are at their premium when picked. So I decided to test. Wine tasting of their sparkling wine took me by surprise, it was a feeling of fresh, light, happiness rounded of with a flurry of gentle sparkles! I had an incredible experience at Chapel Down. Helen provided us with a guided tour that was not only informative but also entertaining—it was truly exceptional. We enjoyed tasting a variety of wines and sparkling wines, all without any pressure to make a purchase. The service was excellent, and I would highly recommend this place. We also had lunch at the Swan restaurant upstairs, which was fantastic. Visited on: Weekend.

I had a fantastic experience on this tour—it was informative, entertaining, and quite tasty! Russell was an excellent guide, and we learned a lot while having fun. The tastings were well-curated, with clear distinctions that helped us learn how to identify the differences and discover our preferences. We went on the weekend and waited for up to 10 minutes, but I recommend making a reservation.
