I was recommended to Charissa’s for great value and last minute services. I’ve ordered 4 orders now in total over the last 8 months..the first order for my guests was delivered on time although I never received notification or a picture as I had asked but the guests were surprised The last 3 orders…not a good experience. The second order- there was little to no communication and I requested my order a week in advance…again the optimistic person in me figured she was swamped. I stopped by after breakfast next door with one of my kids to pick up a treat for the two members of our party who didn't come to breakfast. We picked up an m&m cookie and a cookie dough cupcake.The cookie tastes like a homemade cookie should. It was crumbly and a good mix of sweet and salty.The cookie dough cupcake cake itself was moist and a delicious chocolate base. The frosting was super sweet. It was a little too sweet for us but not a deal breaker. My kids, of course, were more than happy to demolish all of the frosting.We would definitely swing by again to pick up some surprise sweets and maybe order a cake for a birthday!
I love bakeries and was excited at the possibilities when I walked into Charissa's. I immediately noticed that it didn't smell like a bakery and the showcase didn't have much to offer. When I got closer I realized that the showcase appeared filthy. I mean stomach flipping filthy. It was hard to clearly see the desserts. The small display of cookies and muffins looked clean but it was not enough to restore consumer confidence.
Thank you so much Charissa's, my wife and I loved everything you did for our daughters first birthday. The Cocomelon cake was a huge hit, everyone loved how it was decorated. The Cocomelon cupcakes and cookies added a nice touch to how we decorated. In May 2022, I ordered a Birthday Cake for my Mother's 86th Birthday which also fell on Mother's Day. The cake was stunning, delicious, and a big hit! I regret not writing this review sooner. The restaurant truly deserves praise for the beautiful and delicious cake they created for my Mother.
We were disappointed with our experience at the restaurant as the baker was not transparent with us. Despite providing a picture of the cake we wanted, we did not receive what we had requested. Communication was lacking and the cake was not delivered until the third day of our trip.
I ordered a gluten free chocolate cake and a board for our anniversary. The cake was the best gluten free cake I have had, not the least bit dry, which gluten free can be. The design on the cake was beautiful. I would recommend Charissa.
I have celiacs. I found this place by complete accident. They do anything you want gluten free. I just ordered my cake for my birthday on Saturday

Charissa's did an excellent job with our cookies and hot cocoa bombs! The cookies are incredibly delicious and we absolutely loved them!
Wonderful customer service!! goes out of the way for her clients. And cookies are delicious too!!
