I would definitely pass on Charleys Philly Steaks, especially with Blaze Pizza nearby. While the free samples were tasty, the sandwiches were messy and nowhere near as exciting as even the simplest Blaze pizza. The soda was mostly ice with very little syrup—I forgot to ask for no ice, which I usually do at fast food spots. Overall, the prices are too high for the quality and dining experience. I recommend going to Blaze instead to avoid the bland, messy, overpriced sandwiches and watered-down soda. Just be sure to try a free sample first!
On July 22nd, I had another fantastic chicken Philly with fries. Around 11:15, there were only two men working, both efficient and friendly, though I didn’t catch their names. The small chicken Philly with fries was excellent! The bread was perfectly toasted, and I appreciate that you can customize your toppings. I’ve enjoyed this meal many times and have never been disappointed. Finally getting around to writing this review.
I had a disappointing experience at Charleys Philly Steaks. Even with six employees behind the counter, they had trouble completing my order. It was 3:30 PM on a Sunday, and they said they were out of iced tea. I waited 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes for my full order. The only person who seemed competent was the grill cook. They definitely need better staff training; the whole operation was a mess.
I am very disappointed with Charleys Philly Steaks. I placed an online order and received confirmation for a pick-up at 8:35 PM. However, when I arrived, mall security informed me that they closed at 7 PM. They took my money, and now we have no food. To make matters worse, their hours still indicated they were open at 8:51 PM while I was outside.

I usually stop by here because my 8-year-old daughter loves the Chicken California sandwich. However, when I pay with cash, they refuse to give me a receipt. David, the cashier, told me not to worry and said he would call me when my food was ready. After asking three times, he finally printed the sales receipt.
I absolutely love this place! I've been a regular customer for three years now. David, the manager at the MV mall location, does an excellent job and always ensures everything is just right. He's a friendly and approachable guy. Plus, the food is fantastic!
Our top pick at Charleys Philly Steaks is the Chicken California sandwich. The meal deal comes with fries, which is a nice bonus. We also really enjoy the strawberry lemonade. We dine here frequently.
These sandwiches are disappointing—just tiny pieces of chicken. You get more food for $8.00 at McDonald's.
