I first discovered Charlie’s coffee through the van outside St Albans station. It is without doubt the best coffee I have ever had. So smooth and creamy but also the perfect amount of strength. I tried the coffee shop on London road today and once again it was incredible. I didn’t know coffee could be so good!

The best coffee in St. Albans can be found here. I enjoyed a delicious oat flat white. Despite the stormy weather outside, I was greeted with a smile and friendly conversation at the station. It really made my dreary morning much more tolerable. Thank you.

We make a 30-minute trip to St Albans just for the excellent coffee, warm and friendly welcome, and amazing cakes at this restaurant. The coffee is consistently the best we have ever had, so delicious that it is meant to be enjoyed slowly, not rushed. Reserva una mesa ahora

I love Charlie’s! It’s my go to for an iced choc and chocolate swirl. Staff are always smiley and friendly and the shop front looks beautiful. Would highly recommend if your in the area, so much nicer and fresher than chain coffee shops.

I go here every week for coffee on Saturday mornings and it’s amazing! Tiny little space, but the coffee is easily the best around and the staff are all really friendly. Charlie herself is also a great business owner. Highly recommend.

Definitely the best coffee I have tried and as an Aussie, good coffee in England is hard to find! Very busy on Saturdays but totally worth it. Amazing coffee and great cheery staff. Love my weekly visits

Coffee delicious, cakes especially pistachio lemon loaf and delicious veggie sandwiches. Owner and staff very friendly. My weekly treat when working nearby.
