Update four years later: They have had a renovation or something since I 've been here, as seen from newer photos. The burgers were pretty good, but not as I remembered them. My kids loved their kids meals though. My oldest ate all his Mac and cheese, I tried some though but it lacked flavor. A little bland without much salt. The mushrooms in my burger were good but unfortunately they didn 't carry steak sauce which would 've been ideal in a mushroom swiss burger for me. My boyfriend got the burger with the egg inside and he said two patties inside made it uneven and dry once he was nearly done with the burger. If it only had one patty, it would have been perfect. The atmosphere was very nice, service was quick. However they did not put in our whole order so we missed out on our potato boats. They offered to make them for us, but our plates had already arrived and did not want to wait on them. The chicken fried steak was burnt on one side. The Charlie's ham sandwich was good. I was hoping for everything to be better, I would understand if they were really busy, when we went there it was not crowded at all. Maybe I will try it again another night.
This is a fantastic little spot in Farmersville. I wasn't a huge fan of Charlie's when they were at their old location, but now that they are here on the other side of town they have servers, great food, and outstanding drinks made from scratch. Cheers!
Nice little spot to get some good home cooked meals and it has a cool building used to be some old place it’s really neat and the atmosphere is very small town will definitely be back when in the area it’s a must to check out.

We ordered 3 classic burgers with fries.although they were good. We were charged$7.99 separately For the fries..i think 7 fries is all each of us got. No more will I eat at this place.
4th time here, salad was room temperature, slow service when not busy, over priced for what you get. Dingy and visibly dirty in the dining room. See you later, Charlie, done for good!
