This bakery is one of my absolute favorite spots, and I can't believe it's taken me so long to write a review. They offer delicious sandwiches, and their baked goods are simply irresistible. The sandwich menu remains relatively consistent, and some baked items are available fresh each day. However, most of the baked goods are produced in small batches, so what you find may change from day to day. They also have specials; one of my personal favorites is the griddled mac and cheese. Today, they had a Lord of the Rings celebration featuring Samwise stew! I also indulged in a King cake brioche donut and a tiramisu croissant. I truly feel like I'm in heaven!
Don 't take it from me, take it from my 4 year old: I could go to Charlsie’s every day. They have the best food I ever thought about (me, my wife and my 2 year old completely agree). This is a true gem with great food, great vibes, friendly service and even an area for the kids to read or unwind with toys! We highly recommend any of their Sammie’s or vanilla donuts (but it’s all good! They also make great pies for holidays.)Kid-friendliness: The owners and staff are amazing with kids. In the back they even have a couch, table, play kitchen and box of toys which are always a hit. Their book rack at the couch ranges from littles to pre-teens!
I have nothing but great things to say about Charlsie's Bakehouse! My wife and I enjoy getting sweet and savory items alike. The prices are very fair, especially when compared to what other local businesses are charging. There's just something uniquely special about this place the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the delicious food. Highly recommend to anyone who lives in or visits Catonsville!
Everytime I have a bad week, or feel bored with my life I make it a evening to put on a cute outside and romanticize my life by coming here and getting a coffee. Their baked goods are absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is so comforting and retro, and the staff is so kind. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Super cute bakery! All their goods are delicious. Kid-friendly as well (with a little area for kiddos at the back). A nice place to sit and do some work, although the store does get busy around mid-morning.
I absolutely love the music here. The food has always been exceptional, and the froth on the crafted lattes is simply fantastic. This place is definitely one of our favorite local spots.
Worth a stop in. Very cozy bakery with coffee options. Haven’t had anything I didn’t love, but can’t say enough about their key lime pie and Wakey Wakey breakfast sandwich.
