Charo Chicken - Reserva de mesa

This was my first time coming here. They're right across the street from Bay Theater. There are seats tables outside. It's small, but a cute place to have a date. Their chicken was so good. It reminded me of El Pollo Loco, but better. They have this delicious garlic sauce on the side, but the chicken had so much flavor that you didn't really need it. The customer service was good too.

I was hungry and wanted a char broiled. I checked them out. I am pleasantly surprised. The portion size is very fair for the price. Also the flavor of the chicken was really good. I sat inside and quietly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the Papa charo. I still had left overs and had that for dinner.

Drove a ways to get to this charo's chicken only to be completely disappointed. We purchased an 8 piece meal combination and we had to throw most of it away. It was like trying to eat leather. I'd check the chicken before you leave as ours was way way over cooked and dry. Reserva una mesa ahora

CASHIER WAS HORRIBLE!!! I went to Charro chicken and then cashier took SOLONG into my order. He was clearly high because his eyes were extremely red and cloudy. And he messed up my order? Thank you, Jack.

Used to be great food but for the past few years we get consistently dry chicken. Just does seem as good as it used to be. Sad too. It?s been a staple of the community.

When I first went, it wasn't good the second time. They accused me of salsa I didn't ask that the corstortillas were old and dry and the chicken was just okay. Reserva una mesa ahora

The chicken was overtaken this visit and rubber. The taste is excellent. Not enough seats for big parties.
