Cha's Cabin - Reserva de mesa

Dropped in for a Friday lunch with a couple of workmates. The lady serving us was lovely and brought out some poppadoms and about four different sambals. She explained that she would do a mixed plate of curries and asked our meat preferences. The cook also sent out a annals bowls of prawns and calamari. Our plates were massive. The lady also served us a delicious little pudding for dessert. All this for $12.50. Incredible. Would I go back....YES!I took some menus back for workmates. They apparently also do buffet on Friday and Saturday nights for $18.The place is cosy and clean and serve family style, Wholesome, tasty and very filling meals.

Second time visiting this place and again it blew my socks off and sent my taste buds to participate in a party in my mouth! The food is amazing and all you can eat buffet?! What could go wrong? Food coma's were plentiful around the table, the people are friendly and welcoming! South East Melbs little secret! Price is great too! The place is a little outdated but I wouldn't even fault that! Get amongst it! .... My partner now tells me they have late night kareoke but it's past my bedtime so I'm on the way home now!

I have visited the restaurant many times and I love it, the food is fantastic and the service along with the owners interaction is just great. I also do a bulk take away when I entertain at my home. The best was that I booked the restaurant out for my 60th birthday and I did not even discuss the menu. I left it to them and all my guess could not stop talking about how great the taste and menu was. I was absolutely happy, we ate, sang and danced the nigh away. I have been going to chas for years The owners are just mint they let me take over their restaurent and are easy going people the owner and I sing a mean duet Love the family atmosphere The karoeke music together with the eastern western buffet is a definate hit Put this restaurent as a must visit restaurent when in melbourne it's tucked away in hallam but worth the visit as you will keep going back like me.Kind Regards Jenny Reserva una mesa ahora

A really tasty, well presented Sri Lankan meal. They also have inexpensive all-you-can-eat buffets on Friday and Saturday, serving a variety of Sri Lankan food, including roti, hoppers, rice and curry. Licensed and BYO wine

Attended a lunch birthday party. A very friendly place, staff make you feel welcome. The food was very tasty, not hot but full of flavour. A buffet spread that had something for everybody in taste and variety.

If you love spicy food great atmosphere this is the place to visit. The owners and staff are very friendly and provide good service.I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
