We spent two nights in the hotel, which was superb in all respects. They even gave us a free upgrade for some reason, and the room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Francois Coty built the chateau in the early century to rival the other...more ancient ones in the area, and the current managment has done its best to keep up the standards. We were surprised to see young couples with children there, because the room rates can be fairly steep, but the architecture and grounds are lovely. The restaurant is very good but perhaps a bit more expensive than one might expect. Be aware that it's a gastronomique experience, so expect a hefty bill.
The restaurant itself was in an impressive circular room overlooking the valley. The staff were attentive and gracious to us in speaking English along with presenting the menu in English. From the amuse bouche to the dessert we were delighted, even the bread roll was...delicious. The fois gras was probably the best we had ever had plus was served with toasted brioche. The main fish dish was beautifully presented and was delicious. The desserts were works of art. For us it was a wonderful and memorable evening.
The frame is beautiful. However, the buffet is not exceptional in originality and quality. products are honest, but some family/popular ablissemeneurs do the same. The staff is nice. the wines had to be claimed. for euros per person, we pay the majestic environment of the castle of artigny. Given the success, since you have to book long in advance, the formula is well found.!

I enjoyed the cod, it was very delicate and delicious, very good part. for the gloomy I had plastered, it was beautifully presented, but it...taste ok, birne was not soft enough poched. the ambiente was beautiful. overall it was a beautiful experience.

After crossing the small wood of the very large property, the hotel appears, with the restaurant on the ground floor of the castle decorated with works of art. the frame is very pleasant. the dishes are good, quite classic, and the wines served to the glass to be in agreement.
Dinner was better than average at this lovely Chateau in their dining room overlooking the Indre Valley. The staff made an effort to meet my food allergy requirements. The overall ambience was pleasant and the wine list was extensive. Overall I would give it of stars.

the room alone is worth the experience. the food was delicious (classical) and service formal beautiful. wander in the lobby (and on the ground, if still light) for a full expression of this beautiful space.
