I normally don't write negative reviews, but I was so excited to visit Chateau de Chamirey, that the disappointing experience sadly needs to be shared. I phoned to book a tasting and was told to arrive at 18h30 for a discovery tasting. Upon arrival we were made to feel like we were intruding as they close at 19h00. I specifically phoned to make sure we could do a tasting and we could easily have gone at 18h00 if this time was offered. No tasting was offered, only a welcome glass of wine. Not only was the wine delicious and the winery BEAUTIFUL, the host of the wine tour was super kind and accommodating!
