Château de Pizay - Reserva de mesa

A rainy weekend at the Pizay Castle, so we couldn't enjoy the magnificent restaurant terrace. We dined inside in a room with old decoration, missing a little cachet. All staff are young. The service is of quality but perhaps a little too academic. service is very, if not too, fast when you install at the table. The menu is imposed with the smartbox but it is possible to change its composition for an additional fee. on the menu for us: amusing mouths- rosace of melon-canette-brownie chocolate - mignardises. This is a beautiful hotel set amongst the vineyards of Beaujolais. We had a large, quiet room on the ground floor in the older part of the hotel which enabled us to have a delightful breakfast on our patio each morning. We ate in the restaurant twice and enjoyed it each time - the food was good and beautifully presented without being too nouveau. From the hotel it is easy to tour the many Cru villages of Beaujolais. Note: as the hotel is set amongst a working vineyard a certain amount of agricultural activity should be expected - there is an informative self-guided tour of the vineyards

an excellent time, with a dinner taken in the beautiful courtyard of the castle ( assured romantism). the dishes were tasty and neat. The only small flat, the service is not necessarily up to the dishes presented and would deserve some adjustments. but I strongly recommend and I'm already late to return to it (in the autumn perhaps, when the vineyards will take shades of honey and grenat).

beautiful place, in the middle of the vineyards, friendly welcome. but the annexes or the rooms are a little disappointing, mini bar not cold, a little bad way in the finishes for a 4-star it is a little limit. the restaurant very good gastro, but long at service, 45 min before having something on the table, red wine from the excellent domain, very nice waiters! Very pretty plate, gives itself a lot of bad, but the very average culinary result for such a very friendly expensive staff price. But the menu should be between 15 and 20 € cheaper

We become accustomed to the restaurant, it's so good! a beautiful summer evening on the terrace is so pleasant and charming, in addition we saw the chef at the end of the meal
