Chateau de Saulon Restaurant

At the beginning if January my husband and I had a meal here after recently relocating to the area. Arriving a little early, we had our apéro in the Chateau in comfortable, friendly surroundings before wandering across to the restaurant for our meal. We were greeted by friendly young staff who seated us in a very nice informal restaurant with a cosy roaring fire. We both chose a set meal from the menu and wine accompaniments from a perfectly adequate wine list. Lunch this Easter Monday. We were a little disappointed with that meal. a lot too many à la carte dish that was not or more available.(fatty, Saint-jacques, lamb square, pears poached etc...server tells us that it is normal, because the card changes this Wednesday. The service was very long, too many servers that didn't really know what it was to do, and especially what it was presenting, they felt a little lost.

all dishes were insipid lack of salt, spinach spices that accompanied a fish, served coldly advised the server, its answer is sought! the cheese worked, a small cocoon for 2 with cancoillotte and a pesto and 2 small toast slices grilled on the previous card there were cîteaux cheese worked more represented the region with the coffee missing a little chocolate or something else.

A dinner menu starts at 29 Euro. It was good enough but we added cheese, which is 6 Euro extra but you can select four different cheese. It was really worth. Dishes are well arranged and the taste was great. The wine recommended was good, too. Perfect dinner. Another good thing is dogs are allowed. Reserva una mesa ahora

excellent lunch. the restaurant design is elegant and modern. eating was amazing and artistic. they were waiting for workmen were extraordinary. highly recommended.
