Chateau d'Orsay - Reserva de mesa

Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. We order a table for 4 people by phone. Time 6.30 p.m. Arrive 2 minutes early and find the place locked. So we did a little lap. In the meantime, another couple arrived and had also booked a table for 6:30 p.m. We both provided our phone numbers when making the reservation. The restaurant was and remained closed. No sign on the door. No information by telephone. Even when I called, no one answered. Thank God other mothers also have beautiful daughters and so we had a lovely evening with delicious food in another restaurant Chateau d`Orsoy is history for us! It's a shame actually.

Hier vergisst man sehr schnell den Alltag - nicht nur wegen des 400 Jahre alten Gemäuers. Das ist ist frisch und schmeckt sehr gut. Mediteran ist hier das Credo, wobei das Spanische überwiegt. Wir hatten Gambas und Paella (unbedingt vorbestellen). Auch die Weinkarte lässt keinen Geschmack offen. Die Weinempfehlung des Hausherrn hat sich gelohnt. Jener setzte sich auch später vor das Piano und spielte selbstkomponiertes. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Absacker - kostenlos, genau wie die Oliven und das Brot mit Aioli zum Anfang. Unbedingt hingehen. Ist auch für Veranstaltungen geeignet.

Wir waren am Wochenende das 2. Mal im "Chateau"; bei unserem ersten Besuch im Frühjahr vor ca. 2 Jahren war alles prima. Leider war das Raumklima dieses Mal so kalt, dass keine Freude aufkommen konnte - trotz des nach wie vor guten Essens; selbst nach dem Hinweis, dass es zu kalt ist wurde lediglich noch ein Scheit auf das Holzfeuer gelegt ...Na ja, denn eben nicht mehr im Winter!

We finally returned and it was a very harmonious evening. We let ourselves be guided, the sherry and wine were very good, but too much ; . The 4 hours flew by and we went home satisfied and happy. We qRen on recommendation from our parents there, we were delighted. You have to wait longer for your food, but that's completely okay. The quality of the food was excellent and we will not have been there the last time. Price services completely ok.

A very nice, stylish restaurant. A true gem with fantastic Mediterranean cuisine, super service and dessert there is the “Liebestraum” live by the owner. Always happy! Very recommended!
