Chateau Le Mas De Montet

We held our wedding at the idyllic Le Mas de Montet, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. Between the magnificent chateau, gorgeous grounds, beautifully decorated rooms, and the welcoming and hospitable owners, it was a perfect three-day event from start to finish. Le Mas is one of those rare chateaus that looks striking and impressive (both inside and outside) but also manages to be extremely comfortable and quickly feels like home. Our wedding guests absolutely LOVED the chateau, too, and are already plotting a future stay. They offered me a gourmet weekend gift box for my 50th birthday (2007) and I chose the Mas de Montet as the location, very warm welcome, very good gourmet meal (Périgord) and the wine as well. The very stylish 1850s room with a large four-poster bed and antique armchair. The castle lounge is truly beautiful. The owners have managed to keep the charm and originality of the castle for a wonderful weekend.
