I always pop in to this place at least once a week to order my favourite milk tea. I do not like hot tea but their cold tea is heavenly! I tried other milk tea places in the area and they didn’t stand a chance with the taste of the beverage offered at Chatime. The only down side is, the tap in the female toilet is out of order and it has been for weeks already. Please have that sorted out asap! Considering you sell tea, expect your costumers needing to use the loo every now and then but it would be very unhygienic if customers are unable to wash their hands.
First visit, went with high expectations, ordered Tea latte, tasted the worst one had in my life, for which I had to wait around 20 minutes. One Tea latte without topping £4.99. I should have gone to Macdonald’s, half the price, taste as you expect and pay. Never going back to Chatime as couldn’t stand their Tea latte for more than 3 sips. Yuck
We went to Chatime often during our visit to Bali. So when we spotted a Chatime store in Southampton we dropped in for a special tea formulation. It is rather expensive and they wanted to charge extra to add toppings such as tge bubbles which is free in their other shops. We enjoyed the tea but it is expensive for what you get.
Don’t listen to these neggi reviews. I’ve been going to chatime since it opened and it’s by far the best most authentic bubble tea place in Southampton. It’s the OG for bubble tea in Soton. 10/10 would reccomend the honey dew milk with popping lyche bubbles!

Always love going to Chatime for Bubble tea. They have a great range of drinks and quick service! They also have a great little rewards card.
I love ChaTime. Often busy but makes a tasty Taro Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Pearl. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious.
Not very happy with their service because they stopped offering cold milk tea with NO ICE and made me go for a hot one.
I come here at least 5 times a week. Yuna is amazing, she has my tea made as soon as she sees me!! Wonderful place!!

I have an occasional craving for a bit of Hong Kong now and then.
