Chaumont Bakery makes the most crisp croissants in town. Just look at them, the golden color that shimmers butter, the clear, fine, brown layers; the result is a really flocky crust and every bite is pure joy. This gorgeous texture goes to the butter croissant, but also pain au chocolat and the hearty snail I had. Honestly, I feel like they're just a little over the top. These croissants are so crisp that they almost feel fried, not baked. I also had the twice baked croissant with banana, as well as a small chocolate cake, they are also delicious.
