Let me start by saying this is a beautiful looking restaurant. The ambiance was soft and comfortable. I made reservations and was seated right away even though there were others who came in before me but had no reservation. I was offered to sit in the Lounge area or the Dining Room. I chose the latter. I was greeted right away by the Manager who introduced herself, poured me water, recommended I read the story on the menu of the owner, then informed me that my Server would be over soon with bread. Well, soon was much later but she came and took my drink order. The Blackberry Mint drink was very tasty but there were too many mint leaves. I felt like me and my straw were in a war with the mint...
I had a filet mignon that was cooked to perfection—just a little pink and incredibly flavorful. The baked potato, served on its own, was also well-prepared. Everyone else enjoyed their meat dishes as well. The salad was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We even shared a couple of desserts to celebrate a special occasion. We came here for a trial dinner before a big event, and it was served in the lounge during happy hour. Although it wasn’t overly crowded, it was a good decision to arrive early as the table was in high demand. My wife ordered the crab martini and paired it with a Bird Bay margarita, while I tried the draft beer along with a Philly cheesesteak and fries. Everything was...
The steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The ahi tuna was also excellent. We were very pleased with every aspect of our dining experience. Ray was our waiter, and he was fantastic, taking great care of us throughout the meal. However, I believe the entertainment should match the quality of the food, and it fell short in that regard. That’s my only critique. The prices were a bit on the high side, but you truly get what you pay for. The steak was the best I've had in a long time. Plus, the sweet surprise at the end was a thoughtful touch that we absolutely loved!
Service was excellent!! Lamb chops were okay, I've had better. Scallops were getting cold and a little too firm by the time our food came out. BLT wedge salad was delicious, could have used more bacon and hard boiled egg but it was still great. Grandma wasn't a huge fan of her petite filet, said it had gristle and had no flavor. My husband and I wanted to treat my parents to dinner so, after lots of searching, I made a reservation here. Our waiter was friendly and helpful but the drinks and food took quite a long time to come out. We were enjoying spending time together, so it didn’t matter that much, but other diners might feel differently. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks!
There aren't enough stars to give to Chaz! It's a true gem of a restaurant. I recommend arriving early to take advantage of the happy hour specials in the lounge. Both the food and the wine are outstanding. It brings to mind a wonderful dining experience at a beautiful French restaurant.
