We wanted to go somewhere different and off the beaten path. We found the inn and we're intrigued by the menu and the added fact that we needed to take a ferry ride out to the Island. Coming over from Portland we did the walk to the inn, which was our option as the Inn had a shuttle that stopped to check on us a few times. Not to mention the number of islanders who stopped to ask us if we needed a lift. The inn was like stepping back in time ... clean, comfortable and cozy. This Inn was an amazing stay the rooms are right on the beach and the hotel supplies beach chairs if you want to enjoy the sunset/sunrise by the ocean. Overall the place was quiet. The room was very clean. If you stay here, be sure to grab the Lobster platter at The Shack. Was soooo good and comes with chowder, clams, and corn.

The view was gorgeous from the porch and their cheeseburger literally melts in your mouth! Best cheeseburger I've ever had!
