I recently ordered takeout for lunch, and overall, it was quite a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything was prepared fresh. The service was also commendable; I was pleased with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, which also rated a 4 out of 5. Lastly, even though I enjoyed my meal at home, I could tell the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, earning another 4 out of 5. For the price range of $10 to $20 per person, it was definitely worth it, and I would recommend giving it a try!
When it says “The Chef’s House” it isn’t kidding. This is a tiny restaurant sitting in a residential area that is literally part of the house. There are about 4 tables and it’s a limited menu. I had the chicken and dumplings which was very good. It’s a no frills place but I will definitely be back. I have heard that the chicken and dressing on Tuesdays is outstanding.
Had heard of this place for awhile, so I called last week and was told that chicken and dressing was on Tuesdays, well I waited patiently and called in my order, boy was I happy! The dinner was awesome as well as the service, Thank you Ms. Cathy for the wonderful meal, WE WILL BE BACK!!
