We just happened upon this little treasure one Friday morning. Tucked down a little shopping arcade heading toward Sainsburys supermarket, it's easy to miss but so glad we found it. It's very basic but clean tidy and plenty of tables big enough for families. You can also sit outside too. It is run by a group of young Turkish men and they are all very polite pleasant and hardworking. Each of them served ,cooked, cleared tables and kept service running very smoothly. The breakfast menu was very exstensive with so many different combination and also offered full vegertarian cooked breakfast. We had a variety of things from bacon egg buttie sausage bacon egg buttie to a full large English served...
We chose to have breakfast here twice during our visit to Chertsey and both times the breakfasts for our family were delicious. There is a good menu with loads of choice and a selection for vegetarians as well. The prices and portions are good. Efficient friendly service and the waiters were helpful. One day we sat inside the cafe and the next day out in the seating area in the shopping arcade. All tables were socially distanced for COVID-19. There were newspapers and magazines to read. We loved the cappuccino too Would have given five stars but not keen on having to pay by cash. A lot of choice on the menu for both breakfast and lunch, I thought about a chilli jacket potato and saw there were some specials on the board including lasagne but only after I’d already ordered a special grill. Very well cooked, especially the fries which were light and crispy and the egg, firm white runny center. The tea was too milky and the bag was left in. I would ask for this to be different next time and perhaps I should have been asked how I like it but on the whole I was not disappointed. Simple well cooked food. Great value. Lots of people in there of all types, plenty of room and very clean. Be aware it’s cash only. I will be back.
We were staying at a campsite locally and catching a train into London and wanted a breakfast before we set off. We came across the Chertsey cafe and their menu for breakfast was immense! We both had the special breakfast which was sausage, bacon, beans, bubble squeak and toast. I asked for my included coffee to be strong and it certainly was and very tasty. The service was good and friendly and even though it's just a cafe, the standard of food was great and we would definitely recommend for a hearty breakfast! Reserva una mesa ahora
Very poor. They only accepted cash, which isn’t ideal during a pandemic. They also got one of our meals completely wrong and took such a long time to correct it that the other person had finished their meal before the correct meal arrived. And when that meal did arrive, it was very badly cooked.
Excellent food in great varieties compared to your standard cafe. You will not be disappointed if you visit this cafe. The most reliable, respectful and friendly family run business in the area, and surrounding areas. The standards do not drop, with taste and portion sizes!
