Very rude owner . Saw a rat running across the floor before I got my order and when I mentioned it to the server she apologized and said they have been having a pest issue but have a company working on it . I asked to pay for the pop that I had and no longer wanted to the food. Mind you, my order had not been served to me yet. The waitress left and the owner came back and asked what the issue was, when I explained I just didn’t feel comfortable eating there and would just like the bill for the drinks the owner became belligerent saying a “mouse is nothing to be worried about” and said the food was already made and I was going to be charged regardless . I haven't visited in years, but I went for lunch on Wednesday. The waitress recommended the special, which was excellent. The chef did a fantastic job, and the waitress was outstanding. I rated it three stars because I found the food and drinks to be overpriced. I gave the atmosphere a one because the bathrooms are in terrible condition, and the place looks worse than it did ten years ago. Service: Dine-in.
We just moved to the area, and this place is within walking distance. It was only a matter of time before we got to go check it out. So glad that we did, and for sure see ourselves returning. Chesleys has 1 of the best burgers downriver! Hands down! Always cooked perfectly and has an all around great taste! Sorry I will add pictures next time I always forget to take pictures and then I remember and then my burger is gone!! Stay away from the long island unless you get an Uber.. they are strong and delicious! I visited this restaurant for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. The quality is outstanding, particularly the food. I dined in for dinner and everything was fantastic. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the Burger and Fries as well as the Pizza Fries!
The food was below average, but the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.
