Small little restaurant and although it wasn't very busy, our reserved table was right beside a young couple that appeared to be out for a romantic evening. It would have been better to have placed us one over to give us all a chance for private conversations. The fresh bread, especially the rosemary focaccia, with the herb butter was super and baked on the premises. The menu was not for the non adventurous eater. I tend to not eat a lot of animal product so it was very limiting for me. This restaurant had high hopes when it first opened - but several years later it is tired. The tonic in the G and T was flat and because I ordered a double the solution was to put it in a vat of flat tonic. Yuck. Tasteless and sad. The food presentation was equally indifferent while the offers of beet salad and fried brussel sprouts are really "yesterday"'s fare. The waiter was rude - when asked if we could forgo the chorizo salsa that came with the scallops he just pursed his lips meaning "no". Who does that? The options for non-meat eaters is limited and to ignore the opportunity to please a customer by just frying up the scallops and putting them on a plate without the salsa was lost on h...

Came here via recommendation from a friend. We love local restaurants that take pride in the food they serve and this certainly made the cut. We started with the beef tartare; it had an excellent flavour and texture, enjoyed the homemade crackers it was served with! Continue on to our entrees, I had the strip loin and my husband had pasta...both entrees were very delicious. We are excited to go back and see what type of summer seasonal menu they will be serving!!

I've been to Chew twice in the past couple of months. The first experience was exceptional, inspired, fun, cuisine. The 2nd was on a Sunday night, and we had to endure a bit of the, "we're sold out of that." As well some of the options on the menu the first time, Beet Chips, were not available the 2nd time. We ate here with another couple and decided to do Tapas style. Some portions were quite large, but overall they are small portions of food that is very unique and delicious! Would recommend checking this out!

We had lunch here, and were impressed with the sandwiches. Excellent. Appetizers were good too. The scoop of ice cream (cookie dough) was a nice touch at the end. Great service.

When you first walk in the restaurant seems very small, but after being seated and taking in the atmosphere it was great. The service and food were amazing.

Everything was delicious and well presented. We will definitely be back. Fun atmosphere, good service- what's not to love.
