Found this place on TA and since it was listed as the #1 restaurant in Montrouge, I knew I had to try it. I don't know if it's true, but a high rating is justified as far as I'm concerned. I had a simple meal; a beer, a couple of appetizers, the Pad Thai, and a dessert. What impressed me was the food temperature, the freshness of the food, and the clarity of the flavors. These folks are doing something right. I coul see that "folks" was the correct term, because it is a small, intimate family restaurant where everyone has an investment in the success.The service was great, as everyone is paying attention, and the atmosphere is family-style. Went here based on the reviews, boy were we disappointed! The food is all right, but even though we ordered drinks twice, they did not serve it with the starter, and not with the main. We had to get up and ask for it before they brought it to us. After that, our glasses went dry without them noticing. Suppose it is worth a visit, but in our view it's not the #1 place in the area, sorry.
We found this restaurant after consulting Tripadvisor. What a find! Excellent service with attention to detail in serving a delicious meal, very reasonably priced. The nems are home made and are to die for. Limited wine list but good quality. Atmospheric, with soft background music.A little off the tourist route but well worth the deviation.
Had a very lovely meal, the service and the price is expectional. I tried Cambodian for the first time and this was a very exciting new experience. It's tooked away off a side street but definitely worth while seeking out.

This place is amazing, very cheap and good service. We paid 13 euros set menu for a starter main and several glasses of wine which was very good value given how tasty the food was! Definitely worth a visit
If you are in the Montrouge area and looking for a change ( from French food) look no further. The food is excellent and service is attentive. Try the Amok fish - Cambodian dish - highly recommended.
The place is quite nice, but a bit away from the most characteristic places in Paris. They offer different cheap menu, and the food is tasty and nicely served. Very fast and helpful the service.
Not a lot of choice in the area. Good to stumble upon this. Good food, fresh and relatively well priced and friendly service.

A pleasant find in a busy quarter. Walking distance from the Cité Universitaire. Food was exceptional in taste and value.
I enjoy the dinner, symple and tasty. Excellent alternative to the hindreds expensive bistrot around Pte d'Orleans.
