Nice discovery! It's small and armored and we understand why. the planter and the ti punch house are to fall (and will bring you down), served by a bartender (the waiter?) smiling like not two. servers too are to be greeted for their convenience and speed. the accras and the lawyer to the crab in entry were delicious, the cod to braz perfect and copyy, the cachupa also. The musicians only make this delightful atmosphere. super thank you!!!
We stopped by this restaurant to have some lunch after it was recommended by the staff at our hotel. They did 'nt have an english menu, or typically lunch plates.. So we ended up ordering all of their starters! 4 different kinds. The shrimps, the meat and the balls (have no idea what it was) was good! And the squash and pork sausage not so good.. It was located in a nice and cool neighbourhood, so enjoyed sitting outside!
the card is alluring with its Creole and Brazilian specialties. Creole taboule (to citrus) was good but the vegetarian plate had nothing exceptional. an industrial macedoin, just like fries served with rice, plus a few cooked vegetables. the reception is warm and the service is fast. a bit loud on the terrace because of the traffic.
We wandered in on a cool evening in May and found this little gem. The musicians singing Portuguese lounge music and the delicious rhum punch set the tone for the evening. The seafood was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. I've never been to Cabo Verde but now it's definitely on my bucket list. Reserva una mesa ahora
I loved it! The food was tasty the perfect and welcoming staff. The little book was really appreciable even if sometimes we couldn't agree to talk fortunately that the musician was taking a break. I had a great night. I'll get back to it as soon as I can.
Local très petit et accueil chaleureux : on est très proches des voisins de table, l'ambience est conviviale (mais il faut aimer ça...). Plats typiques du Cap Vert, en portions abondantes et de bonne qualité, pour un prix vraiment abordable.
The place is so noisy that you can hardly hear the singer's very soft voice and acoustic guitar. Talking to your friends through the din is quite a strain. The food is acceptable, though, and the prices are decent.
