Restaurant not very busy so we got a table for dinner.I ordered soup which was recommended by Max. It arrived cold and didn't taste great. My friends arrived warm and was very nice. I asked if I can have mine warmed up and got a really bad attitude from the waiter- the restaurant wasn't busy yet he behaved as if I asked him to do a lot of work. My friend asked if he would mind taking a photo to which he replied "I am not a photographer". Quite disgusted by such bad customer service we asked who the owner was of the restaurant. He replied that he was the owner- said his name was Max(yet looks really young and clearly very inexperienced in customer service). Our main meals were really good and...

Came to have dinner here based on reviews, but were rather disappointed. Should have probably realized it was not great as the restaurant was rather empty on a beautiful July Saturday night when other nearby restaurants were full. Atmosphere and service were ok, but food was not good for the price. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing (had chicken main entree and chefs special which was beef cheeks that night). Could not finish food as we did not enjoy it...

We ended up in this restaurant by TripAdvisor chance and where surprised at the quality of food we got for our money. We both had the duck and it was perfectly rose just like we ordered it. The gravy was very well balanced. And the service was polite quick and good! And the bill was only 64 euros! 2 beers 1 bottle of water 2 main courses and 2 coffees. Wow! And great quality. So all in all. A must go to place!

We visited here and had the fondue, which was good, but only came with the basic bread and cured meats. We later had other fondues from nearby restaurants which were better and also came with potatoes, pickles and other bits for the same price.All that said though the meal was very good and the service was also very good so not bad by any means, just not the best available. We were there for dinner on Friday June 23 with a friend. Although the tartar did not make him sick, the taste and seasoning were extremely awkward and he could not finish his dish. I ordered veal and it was ok. Service was horribly slow and not particularly polite. So slow that in the end we went inside and stood next to the cashier to expedite the payment...

This restaurant excels in every area from food to service and ambiance. They have a couple different set menus for dinner. My wife and I got their most expensive at $40 per person. We were thrilled with everything from the trout tartare to the wonderful pineapple dessert. The food is artistic but more importantly delicious.

We visited with two children who loved the kids' meals here - the children were offered a choice of fish of the day or steak and chips with veg. Proper food and well cooked. I had the vegetarian croute and my partner had the special. All excellent. Would recommend the crenels brûlée for desert.

Guys, we have been in Chamonix for a week. Since we discovered Chez Constant, we were visiting it regularly. Great French food. Excellent starters, mains and deserts. This combo for 30 euro is not only great value for money but also simply delicious food. Thank you! Reserva una mesa ahora

This was the worst meal of our week long trip to France. The fish was inedible. After sending it back I had to wait another 20 min for it to arrive, still so overly salty I couldn't eat it. The waiters seemed very annoyed, perhaps at the cook, perhaps at me?

Great menu, great service, great value. Very good with ensuring my meal was gluten free as well which as a Coeliac is important to me.
