What a find! Arrived in Alençon at lunchtime, hungry and without a reservation. Found Chez Fano and could not have been more impressed. Amazing food prepared with great care and skill; innovative but not fussy. Service friendly and relaxed. Will definitely find a way to visit again when next in the area.

We recently stopped in Alencon, en route to our holiday gite. We followed the reviews and went to Chex Fano. The whole evening was great, the staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent, without exception. It was good value for money and recommend Chez Fano highly.

Incredible food in a brilliant setting, sitting outside opposite the beautiful, sadly dilapidated Le Grand Cerf. Each of our courses a real treat and staff and chef personable and pleasantly efficient.
