This is a charming little local French restaurant. The service was very good and the ambience was lovely, only a few tables but a nice atmosphere. What stood out though was the food. I've eaten in many Michelin star restaurants including Le Gavroche, and I can honestly say the food here was better. The Magret de Canard was a masterpiece of fine dining, the balance of flavours, textures and presentation was amazing. The scallops for starter was divine as well, beautiful rich flavours and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended.
The food and service is great. The atmosphere is suitable for a relaxed lunch, however, the decor could do with some work. It does feel like you are eating in an office canteen. The tables are too big and could do with some white table cloths. In the evening, the lighting is awful. However, it does fill with people who clearly know their food. Few touches here and there and this could be great.
So good.....weekend away with wife so thought this restuarant looked nice...not at all it was more than that...it was special...food ,service and value for money....a nice change from our go to Italian...try it!
Small friendly with excellent food. Fixed prix menu has good selection and good value in these times of rapidly rising restaurant prices. Scallops and steak especially good today.

It felt like being back in Paris. I love relaxing atmosphere here! I've enjoyed 3 course meal. I'll definitely come back again to eat a crepe for desert!
I can’t forget the duck confit and lemon passion fruit dessert (maybe it was a parfait? I had at Chez Lindsay. Always delicious!
