In the summer, nothing but more pleasant than the altitude restaurants with most often a magnificent view and of course a terrace, here adorning a traditional savoyard chalet of the most blooming dates from 1788. On leaving the Grand-Bornand, a road on the right that climbs a few kilometers and thus arrives face to this superb building. Reservation indispensable because of course the number of places is limited and it would be a shame not to be able to stop there. Chalet in old wood, full of flowers, some antique objects and there, a fountain and this terrace with tables along a fence and view over the valley. We took this winding road to visit Mado on the advice of our hotel. By entering this old stable transformed into a restaurant, we had a very warm welcome like this little couple. We were finally able to taste a fondue worthy of this region. The advice for the wine was very fair and the little blueberry pie was finally conquering us. I strongly recommend this place to all lovers of Savoy and its gastronomy.

Small restaurant discovered during an electric mountain bike ride. The plates of the day are excellent and very well garnished. Mado and are husband welcome you in their old farm, the room was their stable. For savoyard specialties, book them by phone because everything is homemade. I'll give you all the desserts, the ice cream with a little schoot of scavengers.

Discover this little altitude restaurant really top! Total change, a superb view of the Grand-Bornand that really makes you feel on holiday. The dog can decorate its legs, children, take a good bowl of fresh air and a small space is for them. Small dishes or specialities are like the restaurant and the region, typical! Not to be missed if you like the good simple things of the terroir. Warm welcome, Yaute cuisine. A real corner of paradise for the not stuck. Do not look for a service with sommelier. It is the atmosphere and true local food, without chichi in its raw. I love it, it's so rare!

We have dinner on the terrace with this superb view of the Aravis Mountains and the surrounding mountains, we were pampered by the hosts, eating a fondue with this setting and old hospitality, welcomed as kings! I recommend and we'll come back.
