This review refers to the restaurant and not the hotel rooms. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!! The hotel is simply stunning inside and the bar area was welcoming and sylish. Before you even get to the restaurant you will be in awe of the surroundings, everything is stylish and attractive. You walk over a glass corridor under which you can see their wine cellar. The restaurant is large, with high ceilings and stylish decor. There are 2 private rooms you can see into one next to a large store room with all the locally sourced meat hanging! good, but not great. the decoration of this place is very beautiful made. quite modern. we had dinner in the restaurant on the back, not in the bar area. if they love red meat, the restaurant is for them. if not, that is not the restaurant for them. when we went there, we tried everything (an appetizer, head, side and dessert) and although it was good, I just don't think it was the best eating out there for the price. my man and I both walked around with more than filled bells, so the portions were generous. the atmosphere was wonderful and so was the service, I had just better eating elsewhere.

I also agree with other comments, its really good but not great ! unlike its sister company Hotel Du Vin in Cambridge, it doesn't even come close. Aberdeen really needs a quality Restaurant but until then, this is as good as it gets.

The decor was really nice in the restaurant! Food was amazing We will definitely be back next time we visit Aberdeen
