Grenoble was extremely wet when we arrived. We struggled to find somewhere to eat as it was. Saturday night. We had spent a long day travelling and were quite tired. We were happy when we got a table at this restaurant. The service could not...be faulted. The waiters were efficient. We decided on the fish and chip option. Big mistake! The fish was coated is a really thick batter which was greasy and the chips were soft and greasy. Very very disappointed at our first meal in Grenoble.
Jump off the tram at Victor Hugo, cross the street, and into this cozy and homey bistrot. We were there on a very cold, somewhat rainy night so garlicky escargot were the perfect starters to the Entrecot of Beef. This is not fancy food, but...it was very good and the service was excellent. The waiter spoke some English and was very generous about understanding my French.
Very warm and friendly place. Traditional French cuisine with very generous serving. They also propose local typical dishes (ravioles au cepes) which should be tasted!. The foie gras is excellent and very well served. Short and pleasant wine list very reasonably priced (I recommend the...Vallee du Rhone section)!

Initial impression is it's an independent family affair however, closer inspection and it resembles a chain. The food was good and service expedient. Fair priced but not a place for a long relaxing evening. The desserts are definitely designed for sharing.
around 11:45, in search of a future restaurant, we did not hesitate to ask for a table for lunch service, and we recommend you book! the dishes we had chosen were particularly good! The service was friendly! A little waiting, but it's still reasonable.
Super resto avec un cadre très rétro . J adore l ambiance et l acceuil . Pour ma part j ai pris un fondant de bœuf qui a mijoter 12 heures avec un gratin dauphinois. Un régal !!!! Hâte de découvrir d autres plats !!.
It was easy to get to this downtown restaurant via the tram from our B&B. Furnishings are simple but fun. The food was not elegant but quite delicious and reasonably priced. Service was great. We were impressed!

Went to Chez Marius twice as I was very impressed with the first vizit and had to fo it again. The food is very good, service is impecable and it is right in the center. Highly recommend.
