Chez Maurice et Linda

The food at Chez Maurice is consistently delicious. I was always concerned when the ownership changed a few years ago, but the food and service has remained reliably fantastic. A set price for 2 or 3 courses and BYO makes it an affordable evening with great tasting food and friendly service. My only negative is not being able to get the bouillabaisse in a smaller portion to as a starter.

Have been to this restaurant many times over the years.Food and service always top shelf. However was a disappointed that corkage was $5.50 per person,particularly when it is unlicensed and the bottle you have taken is only $20. For the two of us(my wife).I cannot recall if this was always the way.My suggestion would be to charge corkage per bottle,not per person.

The food is delicious . . A set price for 2 or 3 courses and byo . The food is delicious and varied and staff friendly . I have been here a few times now and it never disappoints . The restaurant is small which adds to the atmosphere . I would definitely book before going to save being disappointed

This price fixe French restaurant offers a menu of beautifully prepared three course meals. It’s a small restaurant so reservations are a must. The maître dit is welcoming. I had a seafood crepe followed by a chateaubriand. Others enjoyed beef Wellington all beautifully presented.

OK food and good value, nice night out with friends, but nothing to write home about. Seems to have been stuck in the 80s, when with a bit of energy could be so much more. Food was fine, just not exciting
