we were there last saturday evening and the food didn't seem to be fresh! very important for fish food! I took mussels which were like it has been cooked 1 day before , very dry, very small! my companion took "assiette de crustacés" which was good but the plate seemed to be filled in the day before too! very kind young people to serve us but a man who seemed to be the boss was harceling them to come every minute to us asking if we want something more ! we were there for a birthday but nothing warm and gentle! my companion wanted to make a surprise for the desert but it was very quickly given in 2 minutes! no time to appreciate! no time to eat! and furthermore the bill had some things we didn...
We found this restaurant on an "off chance" visit to Audresselle. The village appeared largely closed on a cold January Saturday. We spotted the "fruits de mer" sign and parked up in the village square.On entering the restaurant we were amazed to see that it appeared almost full. We were taken through to a back room to find another 25 or so diners enjoying lunch. We ordered the 18 euro three course menu and a bottle of unoaked Languedoc Chardonnay.Given how busy the restaurant was the staff worked hard to meet our needs. I got the impression that the restaurant doesn't see too many English speaking visitors, so a grasp of restaurant French would definitely aid your enjoyment.We'll be going b...
Deuxième fois que nous testons cette adresse et vraiment, nous recommandons. L’accueil est chaleureux. Le cadre est sobre. La carte n’est pas chargé mais propose des plats de qualité et reste dans une thématique de produits de la mer. Pas de panique, il y a aussi la pièce de viande . Les desserts sont simples mais efficaces Pensez à réserver car cette adresse a son succès. Le personnel est professionnel et attentionné. Les tarifs sont raisonnables au vu des produits proposés Nous y retournerons
Chez Mimi may look like a little village pub from the outside, but the food they serve is of the best quality. The restaurant is famous for its delicious seafood and friendly and efficient service. It is so famous actually you have to make reservations for lunch and dinner. Stopped for lunch on a drive along the coast and was very impressed with the choice and standard of food. A restaurant that is mainly used by the local population so do not expect silver service and fancy surrounds. The quality and choice of the seafood makes up for any reservations about the decor . It is very popular with the locals so a booking would be advisable for an evening meal.

Do not be fooled by the other reviews: chez mimi is third rate. The soup was watery, the fish and frites were swimming in grease, we received no bread despite repeated requests and -- insult to insults -- the waiter never brought the wine we ordered....just nothing. Avoid like the plague, and go to Le Vent du nord instead which is excellent value.
