I'm an Englishman now spending half the year in Cargese, where I've spent more than five of the last 25 years. I've no personal connection with Chez Mimino, but I've been a regular customer for all 25.Mimino's is basically a hotel restaurant with a wood-fired pizzeria outside on one of Cargèse's most 'sympa' outdoor terraces.Following a change in management last year, Mimino can still claim to serve some of the best pizzas in Cargèse but its menu now reflects the Thai-Corsican fusion of manager Davide's family. They instantly make you feel welcome , great service , especially the young waitress ! Nice cozy Italian/Mediterranian family atmosphere . They serve great pizza's , a variety of meat dishes and believe it or not amazing thai food !!! There is an nice whine collection and different specials every day . If you stay or pass Cargese visit this restaurant you won't be disappointed .

We ate here during our recent stay and found the food to be really good - well cooked and reasonably priced - something for everyone - traditional Corsican dishes, pizzas for my youngest son and vegetarian options for my other son.

The worst attention ever, her owner is awful. Don't even try. We were a big group of people and it was difficult to move everyone and find somewhere else, that is the only reason we stayed.
