Having had a recent terrible dining experience in Avignon (our fault for not reading the TA reviews) we read the reviews for this restaurant before grabbing a table.Two minutes later we were seated, just in time as soon afterwards every table was occupied and this was just 12.15.What a success. Although it was very busy the service was very efficient and we soon had our orders taken. The plat de jour was lamb leg steak with jacket potatoes and it was beautiful, cooked perfectly and very tender and flavoursome. As soon as we saw the restaurant was full of locals, we knew we had found a good restaurant.It was a busy lunchtime and service was mainly handled by one waitress, but she managed this in a very efficient way.We ate the dish of the day, which was pork fillet, with a mustard sauce. It was delicious and was accompanied by an excellent selection of vegetables.
We visited this restaurant on the day the Tour de France came through. The restaurant was right on the route and was busy as expected. We got a table no problem, and the service and food were excellent. Our dishes were delicious and the portion sizes perfect for lunch - we had a brilliant time, couldn't fault it.
We stayed very close to Apt and decided to eat in town one evening. I must say that the city is almost deserted at night and only a few restaurants are tempting. So we opted for this one as they have a nice terrace. Food was ok, pizzas with too much cheese (and I love cheese) on it. Great staff though.

In the evening the place was packed. We waited quite some time until someone came to take our order. The tuna tartar was killed with spices, the beef tartar was ok, as were the fries. Try the cafe gourmond for desert.The winelist is short and features local wines, also in half liter bottles.

This a calm outdoor cafe in which to have dinner. Enjoyed the surroundings and calm atmosphere. It is a casual place in which to have a calm dinner. Not expensive and good good.

Very nice and tasty traditional dishes. The restaurant was full with locals - also a good sign. And a nice atmosphere.
