Chez Nathan is why we stayed so long in Pont de Royan. The town/village is wonderful, a find, a magical spot in our lives. The staff so very friendly and try to please at every opportunity. We had a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine on a magnificent balcony overlooking the river Borne for 60 Euros!!!! We also spent many an afternoon trying to speak awful French sipping beer and eating nuts with our 2 dogs. The dogs didnt say much. Sehr leckere Gallettes! Vor allem den mit Serano Schinken und Tomate Mozzarella kann ich empfehlen. Die Einrichtung und das Licht sind etwas kühl und konnte etwas liebevoller gestaltet werden. Es gibt zwei sehr kleine süße Tische auf dem Balkon. Diese Plätze würde ich bei gutem Wetter unbedingt empfehlen. Preislich eher etwas teuer für die Region. Update 2024: das Restaurant sollte geöffnet sein, jedoch standen wir am Samstag Abend gemeinsam mit anderen Gästen vor dem verschlossenen Restaurant ohne einen Hinweis an der Tür...

Very good experience. We were very well received, including the children (at 2 years old, this is not always easy). The pancakes are very good (crispy and full of flavor).
