We have been here once before and enjoyed it. This time we went and tried some new things. Started off with a wine flight and escargot. Wine flight was great as I was able to get 3 different wines with generous pours. Escargot was great!! It was garlicky and buttery. My significant other got the French onion soup that was a puree form it wasn’t bad. Both of us got the duck, orange duck and the duck leg special. The duck leg special was okay, the sauce was not my favorite. The orange duck on the other hand was so flavorful I dipped my duck in the sauce. The wines were good with the duck. I was disappointed the patio wasn’t open but it should be soon. Can’t wait to come back
This was the BEST meal my husband and I have had in a LONG time!! The Onion soup and mushroom soup were to die for. My husband’s steak was cooked to perfection. My Beef Bourguignon was tender and flavorful. Everything was seasoned to perfection with fresh herbs. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I have worked and vacationed in France many times and beginning at Chez Renee brings back wonderful memories. The owners are gracious, the food is excellent and the decor recreates a bistro in France. My grandchildren who are 13 and 15 always enjoy it
My family’s go to spot. Some of my favorites are salmon toast, Cassoulet, beet and goat cheese salad and the burgers are fantastic!The chocolate mousse for dessert is a must, and the lemon drop martini. Great menu and wonderful staff!!

Chez Renee has a great menu. Food consistently excellent staff friendly and professional. One of the few places you can go to hear your dining companions’ conversations.
Excellent french food! Soup of the day never disappoints, duck, escargot, boeuf Bourguignon, ratatouille !!! , crepes, mousse au chocolat third visit, and will return!
Food was excellent. So were the drinks. It was quiet for a Friday night , no complaints though.
The best meal I’ve had in a long time. A treat in the heart of old Milford.
