Chez Robert - Reserva de mesa

Wonderful service, good food. Strange pricing: Apparantly the only choice you have is to take a full 3 course meal for €34. I only had the main course, my 2 companions had main course plus dessert. We paid 3x €31 for the food which feels...a little bit like a rip off. We were not warned either that the pricing would be like this. Choice iof food is very limited as well. A much better choice is Le temps de mets at the same square!!

Après avoir mangé aux trois restaurants de Saint-Jean, et en circulant lors d'une promenade digestive, je suis tombé sur un menu accroché à une porte en verre. Celui-ci était prometteur. La promesse ne fut pas intégralement remplie mais la table est jeune (quelques moi d'ouverture seulement), le chef éminemment sympathique.Le lieu n'accueille que sur réservation préalable.

I've eaten here a few times, everything's delicious! You must try the lovely au chocolat! I also recently had the 4 hours lamb that was so tender and served with Dauphinois potatoes and stuffed eggplants, all in all fantastic, the host is... very accommodating when there is something you cannot eat, he will work around them.

Really nice food and a great stop for lunch. The set menu was very reasonable and I had the duck pate, brat lamb with Dauphinois potatoes and eggplant followed by the crepe. A wonderful meal cooked specially for us by the talented owner. From starter to dessert the meal was exceptional. The individual soufflés followed by amazingly tender rose veal could not be better. The dessert was light and refreshing. The recommended wine was the perfect complement.

We simply had wonderful food, wonderful drinks and wonderful company. The food is superb. Most of the produce comes from Robert’s garden and he only really wants to cook what he can grow. He’s an exceptional chef and this is a gem of a find.

Robert runs his B&B and restaurant with great passion. We had a wonderful stay in one of the lovely rooms and enjoyed his (large! tasty breakfast. A real gem in this magical French village. We definetely come back!

Asked for a table for 4 for dinner, but were turned away as the dogs with us “can not be fair on the other customers” said the owner of an empty restaurant

We stayed in one of the rooms for a few days and found the host very attentive. Great food, great service and great company, we will eat there again
