Do NOT listen to this guy posting one star we have been coming to Chez Thoa for years (and ordering from them through the pandemic for home delivery, mostly on Smood , and their service is consistently friendly, gracious, and accommodating, with their food being nothing short of EXEMPLARY. I have visited Vietnam and can attest that their food is authentic, delicious, and colorful! Not to mention their portions are more than generous. A real Vietnamese restaurant. I have been there several times because I wanted to discover the various dishes offered. Their Pad Thai is delicious and probably among the best you can taste in the region. But not only ! They offer a choice of dishes, most of which really come out of the traditional basics found in any Asian restaurant. A discovery for my taste curiosity as far as I was concerned. Vegetarian and vegan dishes available. Very nice atmosphere (family) and good service.

Incredibly tender beef and delicious sauces. We each ordered the 200 g of natural (i.e., grass-fed) beef and that with the salad, potatoes, asparagus, etc. was more than we could eat. Owner/Chef was very attentive and friendly. I cannot believe this is not the #1 restaurant in the area. It's that good and is a must when you are in Montreux.
