So, after a nice long walk in the Bois de Vincennes, my dog leads the way back home. On a quiet street, just off the Bois and southeast of the Velodrome, is my local Restaurant, Les Agapes. The dog immediately heads inside to be greeted by the friendly staff and locals. I take my regular table. My dog gets a bowl of water and I get a pitcher of red wine. Ah yes, life is good.The atmosphere is bright and lively with an American Jazz theme. I rarely consult the menu, as the daily specials and recommendations are always great and reasonably priced.I can say that the food is always well prepared, and it is always great value for your money.The selection is varied. Pizzas are always a good choice...
I started coming sometimes at Les Agapes a few years ago. Then Akli arrived. A musician, a writer, an activist, 1000 lifes to tell. I became a regular and spent a few evening listening to Akli. Eating tasty pizzas or large plates of pasta (carbonara, bolognese, with mushrooms, with salmon ...) often long to be served. Drinking a glass of Uby. The decor has changed with red colors, brasserie style. Akli visits became a rare thing, mines also.Servers remain friendly, stuff is good, special evenings continue, Bois de Vincennes is very close ... Les Agapes is still a sure thing.
Very good Italian. The specialty of seafood pasta is made with fresh shells which changes everything. Service from 6:30 pm for those who wish to return home early. The staff is kind and warm.

Excellent Italian cuisine, Neapolitan. Pizza and pasta to the top, colors in the plate. Just a little expensive on some dishes or drinks.
The real Italians super welcoming and which, in addition to excellent pizzas, offer delicious specialties. I'll be right back.
