As always, the atmosphere, food and service at Chez Vincent were excellent. Cécile was a beautiful and accommodating server. The bar made a great Tito's Gimlet and when our first wine selection was not available, a very good alternative Troublemaker was proposed. We both had the mushroom soup that is the best anywhere in Central Florida. My wife enjoyed the lamb frame. After I was first informed by our server that Chef Vincent did not do my favorite five meat tasting last night, I was very happy to learn that he would do it for me. It was fabulous! We'll be back soon.
We were delighted with our waiter and the bartender. The service is so wonderful there. We've been coming here a few years and it's always been the same friendly and accommodating. The dining room where the bar is, is very comfortable. The front dining room is a little overcrowded with white table clothed tables and not as cozy and inviting. The food is good and for me the portions were fine. For my partner, the portions were to small for his liking. However, the comfort of the room and the staff, brings us back over and over again. Definitely an enjoyable experience.
Food was great! Place was empty We are here at 5:45. The service was also good. Very competent and charming server. The only grip I had was the online reservation is not realistic. We ran a little behind us and were under the impression we would loose our reservation. But when we showed up, the restaurant had only 4 people. We hurried for no reason, but it was very good not the less! I had the rice eater with the grouper. A Cosmo cocktail and bread to begin. I was full and enjoyed the atmosphere!
I've never had French food before my friends brought me to dinner at Chez Vincent in Winter Park. Our server Sez explained and helped me with the menu and offered several suggestions. He also shaved over the homemade soups and recommended the soup of the day potato slice. It was amazing. And for dinner, I had the annoyed grouper with big Marnier sauce. It was delicious. I can't wait to come back with my husband and try some of the other great sounding options on the menu.
