The furniture, decor and ambiance are relatively simple. Not basic, but not ornate or oppulent in any way. The neighbourhood is quiet, narrow streets, and quaint dwellings, all in a picturesque town just on the French side of the border with Switzerland. The restaurant is...operated by Chinese immigrants, who have brought their cuisine with them, and they have done it proud. Adjusted I'm sure for the western palette, as there is nothing strange on the menu. Most of the standards are on the menu. Nothing WOW, or that would be seared into memory. it is useful to remember that Chinese restaurants in France offer something different than those in Britain. usually less sharp and more subtle. chez zhao performs an excellent work before this benchmark, which we enjoyed both eating and experience. The restaurant is also located on one of the main places in Divonne-les-Bains. in the night we were there, the place was dizzy. my only little negatiw I'm pretty sure they gave us caffeinet later, instead of the desired deka, so sleep didn't come easy
What seemed like a nice Chinese restaurant with a lovely terrace, was more of a tourist trap. Dinner was okay, some plates really nice (onion beef), some not good at all duck with orange). Service is slow and complete chaos. They don’t seem to...care at all. But then the bill came: 2 items I did not order at all, were on the bill. When asked to correct, a children’s menu magically appeared. It took three times to get the right bill. Ridiculous and dishonest. Don’t go there or watch your wallet.
This is a nice location in centre of Divonne. It seems new refurbished inside vary, very nice. Most amazing thing for this region is VALUE FOR MONEY very decent food for a very modest price. Really pleasant service. The food was excellent though...I was not sure exactly what it was in terms of the region it comes from. I have not been here since 25 years when it was Thai, now it is nominally Chinese. I will go many times in the next 25 years to figure it out. IT IS GOOD

this restaurant visited the restaurant twice recently at a visit in the surroundings. the decor was beautiful and the staff very pleasant and there was a good atmosphere, but I felt that eating was missing in the taste. I said that I went back a second night, but more due to the fact that it did not seem that there were many other restaurants options. I had scallops and felt that they were very lacking in taste and texture.
the personal was very attentive and allowed us to change various elements on the fixed menu, which does not happen to all places. but eating was really pretty bland. I think we were asking for chiopsticks was a bit of a give away ... We...had nems (good,) economical soup (favorlos,) hot fish (nice,) ginger scallops (tasteless scallops and too much ingwer,) hacking suey (bland,) veg drinks (bland,) and candied ing (nizza)
This place was very busy which is a good sign. Found the service was friendly quick. Ordered Steam Dumplings followed by Salted Pork ribs ... both were excellent . We had a few glasses of wine but price was pretty modest at 35 euro...per person. No complaints at all will definately go again.
I went once and I was disappointed. My friend insisted I go a second time but this time for dinner and the reviews were convincing. Well this time was even worse than the first time. Very very long service, mediocre food. Never again. Not sure...why so many great reviews.

we regularly come as family or couple to enjoy the friendly, fast service, good value for money good quality eating. menu conseillé is recommended (after the name). especially excellent nems.
Not the Chinese cuisine I know. The MaPo tofu was actually tomato sauce tofu I cannot believe that! The terrasse was nice, on a good temperature day.
