I had an excellent dining experience with delicious food and a wide selection at the salad bar. The prices during lunch, which extends until 4 p.m., are very reasonable. I ordered a 6-ounce prime rib that was fantastic, but I ended up with quite a bit to take home after enjoying the salad bar. During the lunch special, you get fries as a side, and while I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a choice, I can assure you that you won’t be let down if you do opt for the fries. They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned with salt. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a lovely visit!

First time going and i must say the food was terrible except the salad bar and loaf of bread. I ordered a 12oz rib eye medium well and i got an extra well done instead. I mean the grill marks on the steak looked amazing but my steak was dryer thanlaundry dry sheets. My partner ordered a prime rib medium rare and came out more rare than medium. I wanted to try this placebeing a native of Chicago (where food is just phenomenal anyways, especially steaks) but turned into a disappointment. We endedup getting To-Go boxes and never touched the food after. We left the boxes on the kitchen table. I'll just stick to my go to'sfor great steaks. This place was a lessoned learned.

This is a fantastic spot for cocktails, which are priced between $8 and $9, and their steaks start at $28 for up to 12 ounces. The salad bar is excellent, and you can go back for as many servings as you'd like. Just make sure to save some space for your main course! My total bill was under $50, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal along with the great quality of the food. The waitress was very attentive, checking in on me frequently. I will definitely be coming back!

I had an incredible experience tonight! There was a bit of a wait, so we sat at the bar until our table was ready. I ordered a top-shelf margarita, and it was absolutely the best I've ever tasted! Once we were seated, Jeff was our waiter, and I highly recommend asking for him! He was fantastic and likely one of the best servers in Des Moines. The burger was good. The fried chicken was exceptionally crispy, and the garlic mashed potatoes were wonderfully creamy. The onion ring appetizer was a bit tricky to eat, both with a fork and by hand, but it was still delicious! The salad bar offered a wide variety of options. We will definitely be back!

Overall, everything was satisfactory, but nothing particularly memorable stood out to us. We did appreciate the spacious seating in the lounge area. It was nice to have available seats so we could relax, chat, and enjoy a cocktail while we waited for our table.
