I stopped off here for a quick Chai Latte and a snack. When I walked in I just loved the ambiance, it challenges you to think differently about how a coffee and snack shop should look and feel. I was able to choose between a Chai Latte made on tea leaves or on syrup, that's a first for me. While I was waiting for my order a woman arrived, probably a regular, with her young child. The child was welcomed the same as a regular customer. I noticed there were other families here with toddlers. There was a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere about the place. Delicious homemade cauliflower and bacon soup perfect on a chilly winters day! Unfortunately our first impressions of cafe were ruined by the rudeness of owner who asked us to move table in such an arrogant manner whilst half way through enjoying our lunch not only were we hurriedly ask to move we had to gather our food and drinks ourselves with out an thanks or apology!!! Probably will not return!!
This is a small family run cafe/shop in Beecoft.It has a retro funky feel.Staff are very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive.The food was good We had the frittata and a spinach and pine nut tart.Both were served with a lettuce and cherry tomato salad.Coffe was great and the iced chocolate was yummy.Lovely looking desserts on display and a good breakfast menu available.Throughly recommend
Went there to grab a takeaway coffee today & was told by the owner 'we have 150 people here, we are trying to do our best!' His manner was very arrogant & watching his coffee making skills I am glad I went elsewhere. A lot of staff on deck & they didn't even acknowledge my presence. Leave your arrogance at home & learn some very basic customer service skills! Doesn't even deserve a rating

Chicken and Fishhead is hands-down the best coffee shop in Beecroft; we go there every Saturday and it's consistently been great for years. There are plenty of other choices in the district, but the service is good and the food great.
Scot brews the perfect cup - smooth yet strong. The cupcakes are wonderful morning treat, and the lentil patties are a delicious lunch choice. If I miss my morning Flat White from Scot, my day is not quite right.
I really like this place. Don't let the curious name put you off. The coffee is always good and the food is nicely prepared and served. You can't go past a bacon & egg roll and a coffee.
This café is just average, especially when compared to the Long Shot café located around the corner.
