Chicken Little Ice Cream

I was thrilled to discover that Chicken Little now serves Dole Whip, a dairy-free vegan option at an ice cream stand! It's located behind Chicken burger in Bedford. I love the cute rooster decoration on the building. The staff were friendly and efficient. We tried the raspberry Dole Whip, even though raspberry isn't typically my favorite flavor, it was delicious. The texture was super creamy and the portion size was generous. I was pleased to find out that their waffle cones are also vegan. There is a lovely park area with picnic tables and benches where you can sit and enjoy your treat.

The Chicken Little Egg Stand has now relocated to the new Chicken Little Cafe next door. They offer a variety of drinks, including milk-free options, from the window. There is also a cozy cafe interior where you can enjoy your beverage. The cafe serves a delicious vegan breakfast sandwich with cajun-marinated tofu, as well as a vegetarian option that can be made vegan. I personally prefer the sandwich, but both options are very similar. I have heard that they will soon be able to make milk-free espresso drinks, although they were not available the last time I inquired.

Despite the hype around Chicken Little Cafe and its Chicken Burger, we found the reality to be quite different. The food was bland and lacked flavor, catering more to retirees than younger generations seeking exciting culinary experiences. Overall, Chicken Little Cafe is a haven for uninspiring food and beverages that do not meet expectations. With high prices and lackluster flavors, there is little appeal for those who appreciate authentic dining experiences.

This charming cafe has a retro feel and offers a fantastic variety of ice cream and homemade donuts. The patio is wonderful for enjoying a summer day.
