Chick-fil-a Elon University Commons

I 've had a couple of issues with this particular location recently. The food has been good but I haven 't appreciated getting a suspicious charge for $43 on my credit card or their not putting everything I paid for in the bag. Last week it was the $43 mystery charge. I went through the drive-thru and bought my daughter a kid 's meal and a sandwich that totaled $11. The next day I looked at my Citi Card transactions online and noticed there were two charges for the day earlier at Chick-fil-a, one for $11 and another for $43, which I immediately disputed. Came to get a quick bite before the lunch crowd hit, around 11 a.m. There were 5 people in the dining room, and the drive thru was fairly busy. We ordered 2 meals, and it took nearly 20 minutes to get our food, while there appeared to be Doordash/online, drive-thru orders, and other dine in orders rolling out without issue. I had to go and ask for my food after realizing it wasn't going to be brought to the table. Our food was sitting there with the other orders. Apparently, drive thru and Doordash/online orders take precedence over dine in. Probably won't go back for a while. I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. It's also very kid-friendly; my children enjoy coming here. The entry is easy for those with wheelchairs. We usually opt for takeout for dinner, and the prices are reasonable at about $20–30 per person. I highly recommend the Dr. Pepper, sauce, grilled nuggets, and grilled chicken, along with the fruit. There's plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

This restaurant has a fantastic location. The service and food are consistently excellent. I dined in for lunch, and the cost per person was between $10 and $20. Was passing thru the area on a 7 hour drive, stopped to grab some lunch. The employees were very friendly, very helpful and all of them seemed to be having a great day, making the atmosphere very welcoming and relaxing.
