Chickie's Pete's

Don't get me wrong, Chickie's Pete's has solid food. The wings are excellent, they've got a good selection of burgers, and they've got the expected selection of seafood. However, as expected for a restaurant right on the boardwalk, the prices are certainly inflated. The burger was already pricy, and the fries have to be ordered separately. We went on a Sunday during the NFL season, so the Giants game was on while we ate, which we actually preferred. However, the volume was so high they we could not hear each other speaking. When the game ended, the restaurant started playing music that was at the same volume where we couldn't hear ourselves think. Overall though, the food was good, and the wings were a standout. If your hotel is nearby, Chickie's Pete's might be a great option if you're looking for a sit-down dinner and don't want to veer too far from your hotel.

This is probably the first time I will say that the service here was prompt. Waitress was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the food was horrible. The portions were generous, but again, who wants quick service when you're brought a bucket of tasteless slop? We shared a cookie sheet full of nachos (B Dawk nachos) and they were okay, and I wish we'd stopped there. I had a crab cake. It tasted like unseasoned Stove Too Stuffing and I couldn't taste any crab. My husband had a seafood pasta dish it was enormous, but again, low on taste and seafood content. Needless to say, we're not going back. A menu change for the better is definitely in order.

I love chickie 's and Pete 's and it 's the cheapest food to find in the Tropicana AC. For drinks, 6 different plates came out to $86. Such a great price and there is something for everybody- salads, burgers, chicken tenders, Mac cheese, sandwiches, etc. My personal favorite is the chicken tenders and I dip them in their cheese sauce. My other personal favorite is the basket of fries/sweet potato fries with the 2 different sauces. They are seasoned with Cajun seasoning and other things. This place is known for their fries crab fries and seafood. The service was great too ! Great experience delicious food and cheap prices

7/3/24 We were staying at the Tropicana so we decided to have dinner here. Our waitress was polite but seemed distracted even through there wasn't that many people. Flyin' Hawaiian was good, tasted light on alcohol and I'm not a drinker. But we were told it's because the liquor was also sweet. *shrug Sticky Lobster was good. Sticky lol Blue Crabs were small but very good seasoning. So messy to eat hehehe The Housemade Ricotta Donuts are so good! I wanted to go back to just get the donuts before we head home but forgot : I heard we should have gotten the crab fries so we shall try it next time we're in the area.

On the boardwalk with great views. Eating under terrific air conditioning never felt so good. The food is always delicious and the portions are outrageous. We had the buffalo chicken nachos and the seafood in white wine. Service is superb and the drinks are strong. This is what a call winning in Atlantic City.
